How To Play Texas Hold'em Poker and Win
Texas Hold em poker game is the button game which means that the special button to denote the dealer is used in this poker variation. The game begins by betting. Usually the first two players next to the button make the obligatory blind bets, big and small blinds. Then the pocket cards are dealt. Every poker player in the game is given two face down cards. Then the first betting round occurs. It starts from the first poker player immediately after the big blind position and ends as soon as all poker players have posted the equal wager to the pot.
Flop
When the first betting round finishes three community cards appear. The poker players verify their hands and act. There is the second betting round. Like in the first round the poker players may choose to fold, check, raise, call and bet together with all-in option ( in no-limit games).
Turn
One more face-up community card (turn) is placed on board. Again the round of betting follows which starts with the first active gambler immediately after the dealer’s position. Usually at this point of play the smallest betting amount is doubled.
River
The round of betting finishes and the last fifth community card appear. The final betting round proceeds. The river card gives the poker players the last chance to better the hands and it may be the card that decides whether to stay in the hand or quit.
Showdown
After the last round of betting is over the active gamblers show the cards. The hands are compared in accordance with the standard hand ranks. Bear in mind, that in Texas Holdem poker version the poker players are allowed to use any of the hole or pocket cards and any of the community cards to create the hands.
